What you'll do

As the Digital Trading Executive at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day trading of your category online, looking after Argos.co.uk. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure best-in-class digital merchandising across both platforms, working closely with commercial colleagues and marketing teams to optimise the customer journey and drive conversion. You will track key digital metrics daily, analyse performance, and implement action plans to improve participation, conversion, and overall online performance. Additionally, you will provide weekly sales reporting, collaborate with the Digital Trading Manager on the digital trading strategy, and contribute to category plans that align with the trading strategy. Your role will involve building cross-functional relationships, conducting competitor reviews, and staying up to date with market trends and the digital landscape. As a customer-focused professional, you will interpret data and insights to influence category plans and enhance the customer experience. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across the organisation will be vital to your success in this role.

Your ability to understand and navigate differing cultures, customers, and priorities allows you to effectively work with diverse teams and secure support for proposals. Overall, you are a proactive and influential professional, dedicated to driving digital merchandising excellence and optimising the customer journey across various platforms.
