Base Location: Penner Road
Salary: Starting £39,415 plus shift allowance, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, with working hours from 8am until 8pm
About the DepartmentSSE Enterprise Utilities is the Distributed Energy (DE) and Private Networks business of SSE plc. We finance, own, operate and maintain energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and residential customers - providing them with a market leading project development service and certainty of operational performance and asset management.
What is the Role?Acting as a brand ambassador for SSE, you will be required to lead, motivate and empower a team of Customer Service Advisors to consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience. Through regular coaching, upskilling and performance management, you must equip a team to consistently delight our customers and deliver moments that matter at every opportunity.
To achieve success in this role you must lead by example and take responsibility for ensuring SSE is no.1 for customer service within the industry, whilst adhering to compliance and industry regulatory requirements at all times.
Role Responsibilities Manage and empower a team of advisors to create positive customer experiences.
You will be responsible for ensuring all team members are up skilled and compliant with company and industry regulatory requirements.
You will create a commitment-based environment and will collectively work to develop personal and team objectives.
To achieve success you must inspire confidence, trust, and self-belief in each team member.
You will be a role model for SSE and will encourage the sharing of stories and experiences to instil pride and vigour in each advisor which will in turn create a family as opposed to a team.
Skills/Competencies Required for Role?Experience within a similar role is preferable
The ability to coach and manage a team
Experience working independently
The ability to stay calm and deal with customer crisis situations
