12 Month FTC

A bit about the job:

As a Trainee Underwriting Assistant you will be collaborating with our Trading Underwriter team in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks. You will be delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team and spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements. You will also be acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes
• Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships
• Good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets; databases and word processing
• Previous underwriting experience is not essential as full training will be provided
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferable but, again, not essential

• Starting salary Circa £26,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
